Go to first unread. Skip Virgin really tryin :. Anonymous 1. Report Thread starter 4 years ago 1. Hi everyone, Is it normal to have extreme pain when a penis is entering but not yet completely penetrating a vagina? I tried to lose my virginity twice in my life and both times this happened. The first time I had a very small Virgin really tryin of blood this was last year although I thought because it hurt extremely bad maybe he just did something to another place in the vagina rather than enter. But now a year later the same thing happened with another guy - the exact same hellish pain, so I had to stop the guy again.

He then put his finger inside to relax me a bit but it did not hurt as much- though it was still uncomfortable. Note that I was wet not too little and not too much and he did put some lube on his penis. I'm not sure I've ever been properly penetrated yet I am not sure if now my hymen is broken, or whether I will ever get past that initial hurdle. Does that extreme pain ever go away, or is it even normal?

Should I just insist on him continuing when he first enters despite the pain, so that maybe it would go away in a couple of minutes? What should I do? Not what you're looking for? It doesn't sound like vaginismus - typically women with this can't stand even finger penetration - and a GP or sexual health clinic would be able to see if there's a physical problem.

One thing to try would be sticking with finger penetration - gently, with you in control of how much goes in how quickly - until you're ok with that. You can then move to adding another finger once you're ready, and only when you're comfortable with that trying something penis-sized. Anonymous 2. Report 4 years ago 3. ChillianG Badges: 4. If you're comfortable with it, buy a sex toy, buy a decent amount of lube, and take things at your own pace in your own privacy. Some people have it over and done with in one go, some people take a good few tries before they can start properly having sex, and some people just don't have a hymen at all. This is in no way abnormal, so don't worry yourself OP. Anonymous 4. Report 4 years ago 7. Anonymous 5. Report 4 years ago 8. Hi, I haven't posted on here in years but when I saw this thread I couldn't ignore it.

I had the exact same thing happen to me the first few times I tried to have sex, and it had a massive psychological effect on me. For my first 2 years at uni I avoided sex, going home with people and going on dates because I was so embarrassed and scared of having sex. I would be in excruciating pain and it just felt like the penis was hitting a wall.

Everyone is different, but these are the things I did to overcome it: - Visited my GP to check there was nothing physical there wasn't - Bought a set of vaginal dilators - the set I got was a set of 4, and the biggest was a similar size to a penis. They were incredibly daunting at first because even the second smallest was agony to put in, but they're a massive confidence boost when you can work up to the next size. There was bleeding when I used the second biggest, so I think I broke my hymen with these - An inflatable dildo - I simply couldn't get the largest dilator in, so I bought one of these.

You can insert it small and then gradually pump it up to bigger sizes once it's inside you. I'd recommend trying one of these first, and you might Virgin really tryin need the dilators. It's amazing the progress you can make, and you will get there I promise! TheEngineer Badges: Report 4 years ago 9. Just like how penises come in different sizes, so do vaginas. IF the muscles co-operate. Leecx Badges: 1. Report 3 years ago B2kas Badges: 1. Report 2 years ago It really hurt a lot my first time. Basically the same way it happened to you. It hurts when he first enters but after a few minutes the pain goes away. This all happened in one night but he entered me the I told him to stop so he pulled out bc the pain Virgin really tryin so bad and then we waited a minute and I told him to try again. So when he was re-entering me the same pain happened but I just pushed through.

It hurt for about 30 seconds to a minute then it felt fine and the pain was gone. So I say just push through and make sure to use a condom and lube so it makes things easier. Hopefully this helps you. Rebecca Jasmin Badges: 1. My sister had hers surgically removed. I just thought I would deal with it the old fashioned way- it was medieval. Hopefully everything is just fine, and you can get on with life!

Good luck. It will all work out. I recently lost my virginity and the way you explain it, I felt similiar pain.
